A brief history

Hällsnäs, dating back to the turn of the last century, spent its first 50 years (circa 1923 to 1952) as the summer residence and private home of Gothenburg dentist Lindholm. After division of the estate, the promontory was sold to Sister Signe Ohlsson, who spent almost 30 years successfully running a convalescent home on Hällsnäs until her death in 1983.

The current owners acquired the site in 1986 and have converted the promontory into a conference facility and business club. The entire site has been open to companies and private individuals since 1997, with no membership demanded. However, booking in advance is required.
